About the technology.
GORE-TEX membranes are constructed using an extremely thin, microporous design. These miniature pores are small enough to block wind and water droplets from entering, but large enough to allow water-vapor escape, helping you stay dry and comfortable from the inside out. The GORE-TEX membrane is bonded to high- performance linings and fabrics to create the laminate used in a variety of our waterproof gear.
