This recall involves The North Face Women’s Shellista V Mid Waterproof Boots. The boots are waterproof, leather boots with seam sealed construction. The boots are sold in four colourways, each with its own Style Number. The Style Number is located on the label on the tongue of the boot.

Issue


It is possible that the hook of one boot can catch on the lace of the other boot, posing a potential fall hazard.


As of February 21, 2025, the company has received six reports of the top hook catching on the lace of the other boot in Canada, four of which involved minor injuries. In the United States, the company has received twenty-eight reports of the top hook catching on the lace of the other boot and fifteen of which involved minor injuries.



What you should do


Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled boots and contact The North Face to make arrangements to return the boots for a refund.
