RUNNER
SETH RUHLING
Seth Ruhling began his athletic career running cross-country and track and field and started competing in triathlons in 2015. After several years competing on the pro scene, he re-discovered the trails: around his home in Chattanooga, and found new motivation.
In 2019, when he entered his first 50k (the Eastern Divide 50k in Pembroke, Virginia) and set a course record, he wondered if ultrarunning might be his sport. Two months later, he won the Rock Creek Stump Jump 50k and followed that with another win at JFK 50, America’s oldest ultramarathon and one of the most competitive 50 milers held in the United States.
